The Recipe

Ingredients:

1/2 cup water

1/4 cup unsalted butter

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

2 large eggs

1 cup heavy cream

1/4 cup powdered sugar

1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and chopped

1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

In a saucepan, bring water and butter to a boil. Add flour all at once and stir vigorously until a smooth ball forms.

Remove from heat and let cool for 5 minutes. Beat in eggs, one at a time, until the mixture is smooth and glossy.

Pipe or spoon the dough into small mounds on a baking sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.

While the puffs cool, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until stiff peaks form.

Gently fold in the chopped strawberries.

Once the puffs are completely cool, slice them in half and fill with the strawberry cream.
