Aer Lingus Braces For Pilots’ Strike, Cancels Flights

Aer Lingus, Ireland’s national carrier, is bracing itself for a potential pilots‘ strike that could disrupt travel plans for thousands of passengers. The airline has announced the cancellation of several flights in anticipation of the industrial action, which is set to take place in the coming days.

The Irish Air Line Pilots’ Association (IALPA), which represents Aer Lingus pilots, has been in dispute with the airline over issues such as pay, working conditions, and rostering. Despite several rounds of talks, the two sides have failed to reach an agreement, leading to the threat of strike action.
