Meet Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s 6 Children

Date:

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, two of Hollywood’s most renowned actors, have a large and diverse family. They are parents to six children: Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, and twins Knox and Vivienne.

Maddox Chivan was born on August 5, 2001, in Cambodia. Angelina adopted him in 2002 when he was only seven months old. Later, Brad Pitt co-adopted Maddox in 2006 after his relationship with Jolie became serious.

Pax Thien joined the family in March 2007 when he was three years old. Born on November 29, 2003, in Vietnam, Pax was initially adopted by Jolie. He was later co-adopted by Pitt in early 2008.

Zahara Marley was born on January 8, 2005, in Ethiopia. Adopted by Jolie on July 6, 2005, Zahara quickly became an inseparable part of the family. Like Maddox and Pax before her, she was also co-adopted by Pitt.

Shiloh Nouvel is Angelina and Brad’s first biological child together. She was born on May 27, 2006, in Swakopmund, Namibia. Shiloh has been notably recognized for her unique style and strong sense of identity from a young age.

The youngest of the family are twins Knox Léon and Vivienne Marcheline, who were born on July 12, 2008, in Nice, France. Much like their older siblings, they have been kept mostly out of the public eye but are occasionally seen with their parents.

Despite their parents’ highly publicized divorce and ensuing custody battle starting in 2016, all six children have remained a focus for both Jolie and Pitt. The family has often been seen traveling together to various countries for humanitarian work and attending red carpet events.

Angelina has spoken openly about the importance of celebrating their children’s cultural backgrounds while also ensuring they remain grounded despite their parent’s fame. From different cultural heritages to shared humanitarian values instilled by Jolie and Pitt’s commitments to various causes worldwide — Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox, and Vivienne continue to be a central part of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s lives as they navigate growing up in the spotlight.
