2. Gluten: While not all women with endometriosis are sensitive to gluten, a study published in 2012 indicated that for some, a gluten-free diet could reduce pain symptoms.

3. Dairy Products: Dairy can be problematic due to its content of saturated fats which may trigger inflammation. Additionally, some women with endometriosis report that lactose intolerance can exacerbate their symptoms.

9. Refined Sugars: High blood glucose levels can result in an overproduction of insulin which also tends towards inflammation. Additionally, sugary foods may impact immune function negatively affecting the body’s ability to deal with aberrant endometrial cells efficiently.
