Morgan Wallen Hit In Face With Fan’s Thong During Concert

Date:

Country music star Morgan Wallen got more than he bargained for during a recent concert when a enthusiastic fan threw a thong on stage, hitting him squarely in the face.

The incident occurred on Saturday night at the Xfinity Center in Mansfield, Massachusetts, where Wallen was performing as part of his “Dangerous Tour”. The 28-year-old singer was in the middle of his set, belting out one of his hit songs, when the unexpected projectile came flying towards him.

Security footage captured the moment the thong, which appeared to be a bright pink color, sailed through the air and struck Wallen on the cheek. The singer, taken aback by the sudden impact, stumbled backward, momentarily stunned.

The crowd, however, erupted into cheers and laughter, seemingly entertained by the unexpected turn of events. Wallen, to his credit, took the incident in stride, laughing it off and continuing with the show.

“I guess that’s one way to get a rise out of the crowd,” Wallen joked later on social media, sharing a photo of the offending thong.

This isn’t the first time Wallen has had an unusual item thrown on stage. In 2020, a fan tossed a pair of cowboy boots at him during a concert in Nashville. However, this latest incident takes the cake – or rather, the thong.

Wallen’s “Dangerous Tour” has been making headlines for its high-energy performances and rowdy crowds. The singer’s latest album, “Dangerous: The Double Album”, debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 chart and features hits like “Whiskey Glasses” and “Chasin’ You”.

Despite the occasional flying undergarment, Wallen’s fans have been praising the singer’s ability to connect with the audience and deliver a memorable live show.

“Morgan Wallen’s concert was absolutely insane!” wrote one fan on Twitter. “The energy was electric and he handled that thong like a pro!”

Wallen’s next stop on the “Dangerous Tour” is scheduled for August 12th in Charlotte, North Carolina. Fans are no doubt eagerly anticipating what other surprises the singer might have in store – or what other items might come flying his way.

In the meantime, Wallen’s team has yet to comment on whether the singer will be adding a “no thongs allowed” policy to his concert venues. One thing’s for sure, though – Morgan Wallen can

take a hit, and still deliver a knockout performance.
