Roku Appoints New Ad Execs

Date:

Roku, the popular streaming platform, has announced the appointment of two new executives to its advertising business in an effort to further strengthen its position in the ever-evolving digital advertising landscape. The company has named Jennifer Taylor as Senior Vice President of Ad Revenue and Scott Rosenberg as Chief Marketing Officer.

Jennifer Taylor brings over 15 years of experience in the advertising industry, having previously held senior positions at several prominent firms including Google and Facebook. Her expertise in ad revenue generation is expected to play a crucial role in enhancing Roku’s advertising capabilities and driving growth across its platform.

Scott Rosenberg, who transitions from his previous role as General Manager of Roku’s Platform Business, will now spearhead the company’s marketing strategies. With a robust understanding of both the technology and entertainment sectors, Rosenberg is poised to innovate and expand Roku’s market presence through targeted campaigns and strategic partnerships.

These appointments come at a time when Roku is focusing on augmenting its advertising business, which has seen significant growth over recent years. As more consumers shift from traditional television to streaming services, companies like Roku are increasingly capitalizing on digital ad opportunities to reach a wider audience.

In a statement, Roku’s CEO Anthony Wood expressed confidence in the new leadership team. “We are thrilled to welcome Jennifer and Scott into their new roles. Their combined expertise and visionary thinking will undoubtedly propel our advertising business forward,” he said.

As Roku continues to expand its footprint in the competitive streaming ecosystem, the strategic appointment of seasoned professionals like Taylor and Rosenberg underscores the company’s commitment to fostering innovation and driving revenue growth through enhanced advertising solutions.
