Shifty Shellshock, Crazy Town Singer, Found Dead At Home: Report

The music world is mourning the loss of Shifty Shellshock, the lead singer of the rap-rock band Crazy Town, who was found dead at his home on Thursday, according to reports.

Born Seth Brooks Binzer, Shifty Shellshock was best known for his energetic stage presence and distinctive vocal style, which helped propel Crazy Town to fame in the early 2000s with their hit single “Butterfly.” The song, which sampled the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ “Pretty Little Ditty,” reached the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 2000 and became a staple of the nu-metal era.
