2. Electric Motor: Electric motors are far simpler than internal combustion engines and require minimal maintenance. They can operate efficiently for decades.

 The Role of Car Manufacturers

Despite the clear potential for extreme longevity in EVs, car manufacturers have economic incentives to produce vehicles with a limited lifespan. A market where cars last indefinitely would pose significant challenges:
