A tragic accident occurred in Rancho Cordova when a white Tesla and a silver Ford collided head-on on Excelsior Road. The Tesla, reportedly speeding and driving recklessly, caught fire after the crash. The driver of the Tesla was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver of the Ford suffered minor injuries. The road was closed for several hours for investigation and cleanup.
